LEARNING TO SEE

Poetic Images in Nature Photography

Painters use pigment, writers use words, and photographers use light. Keith invites you to explore and study light, color, composition, and the "decisive moment." You will learn ways to transform the beauty you experience into poetice photographic images. Basic to advanced skills will be covered to address individual questions. You will enjoy lively discussions and field assignments that will stimulate your photographic eye. Whatever your interest or experience, you will be encouraged to reach beyond your current ability to discover new ways of seeing the natural world.

Participants are responsible for providing their own equipment, including: camera, tripod, and laptop (if you wish to share your images with the group, which is encouraged). It is highly recommended that you read your manual so that you will be familiar with your camera before the workshop.
